Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES: -Bachelor's degree. Any combination of relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. -Five years experience in administering two or more federal or state financial aid programs in a higher education setting. -Two years progressive experience leading or supervising other staff (may include part-time and student employees). -Experience using student financial aid database systems; demonstrated technical skills and proficiency with other software and computer systems. -Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs - specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook. -Ability to work in accordance with federal and state regulations, and college policies and procedures. -Effective communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with persons from diverse populations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -Experience using PeopleSoft in a Student Financial or Enrollment Services area -Experience in developing and implementing business processes and technology solutions.
