WASFAA is pleased to sponsor the 2003 NASFAA Fall Workshops:
- Student Eligibility
- Guiding Principles for Making Wise Decisions
NASFAA is pleased to announce plans for its Fall 2003 Workshop
Series. After careful consideration, and in consultation with the NASFAA
staff,
the NASFAA
Training Committee has selected Student Eligibility as the focus of this year's training. Issues to be addressed include:

Academic requirements for admission vs. eligibility for Title IV aid
-
Database matches
-
Citizenship/eligible non-citizens
-
Overpayment/default
-
Veteran's status and definition
-
Drug convictions and criteria for rehabilitation programs
-
Impact of institutional policies on student eligibility
-
Enrollment status tracking
-
Regaining/losing eligibility
Participants will also receive an update for the Student Eligibility section
of NASFAA's Policies and Procedures template. Experienced aid administrators
will conduct the workshops.
Cost for WASFAA Members: $25
Cost for non-members: $65
Note: WASFAA is subsidizing the cost of the workshops so that we are able
to offer the workshops for less than what NASFAA is charging.

will be open for check-in at 8:00 am and the workshops will
begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. If you do not prepay, the registration fee
is due
at registration.
Purchase
orders do not constitute payment. If you must register on-site,
please plan to arrive early enough to allow adequate time for this process
before the
workshop begins.
