What are PDF Files?
PDF (portable document format) is a format for storing documents in a READY
TO PRINT format that assures any form or document can be printed by virtually
anyone on almost any printer and it looks exactly like you originally intended
it to.
An excellent example of this type of use is: IRS TAX FORMS. When you print
out the IRS 1040 tax form, it looks almost exactly like the copy they would
send you in the mail.
To use a PDF file, you must have installed a PDF 'reader' program. ADOBE
makes a PDF reader program freely available on their website. It is available
for many types of computer systems, from Windows to MAC and UNIX.
To obtain this free program go to www.adobe.com.
Look for the "GET ACROBAT READER" logo on
the main page.
