Message from WFAA president
Dear WFAA Friends,
We work in an ever-changing environment. What was simpler is now more complex—giving us our conference theme of the New ABC’s of Financial Aid. As financial aid professionals, we must now concern ourselves with a broad array of “A’s” (access, afford-ability, accountability), “B’s” (budgets, bureaucracy) and “C’s” (cost, COD, Customer Service).

On behalf of the Executive and Conference Committees, I am pleased to extend an invitation to each and every one of you to attend the 2003 WFAA Annual Conference at the Enzian Inn in Leavenworth, Washington. The conference dates are October 22 to 24. This year's conference theme, “The New ABC’s of Financial Aid,” will provide an opportunity to look at what is changing in the work we do and how we can continue to improve on our efforts.

The Conference Committee has designed a program that includes something for everyone. The program includes sessions for newcomers and seasoned managers, as well as sessions dealing with technology, new initiatives, and fiscal issues.

Our entertainment committee promises an enjoyable evening on Thursday – movie night. There will be an opportunity to view the “President’s Choice” along with several other selections. You won’t want to miss it!
So don't delay! Renew past acquaintances and meet future colleagues and friends at WFAA’s 2003 Conference.

See you in Leavenworth!

Sincerely,
Clara Capron, WFAA President
